OUR STORY BELOW

We started this campaign not just as teammates, but as longtime competitors turned collaborators—joining forces with a shared goal and a deep respect for the sport that shaped us.
Since launching our 49er Olympic campaign, we’ve poured everything into it: long hours on the water, building support off it, and constantly learning how to grow as athletes and as a team. Every step has been humbling, but we’re proud of what we’re building—something bigger than just results.
We’ve always pushed each other. Now we push together. And with the right people behind us, we believe there’s no ceiling to what we can do.

Duncan Williford

Duncan Williford 49er Sailor Mens Skiff

Duncan grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was introduced to sailing at an early age in the Optimist, drawn by his love for competition and being on the water. He competed internationally on the youth sailing stage, both in the Optimist and the 29er skiff class, experiencing early success with a top 10 finish at 29er World Championships and winning the youth nationals. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 2018 with a degree in government, helping lead the Dartmouth Sailing Team before deciding to pursue his Olympic dreams in 2020 alongside his twin brother, Christopher. The two fell short of qualifying for the Paris games at the 2024 Olympic trials, leading Duncan to pair up with his long time friend and competitor Nicolas Muller to continue in pursuit of his goal to compete for an Olympic medal at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
